QUALIFYING FINAL 1 - NATHAN CLEARY
Cleary sent an ominous warning to the rest of the NRL competition as he found top form in the first game of the 2024 NRL finals series. The playmaker was faultless, constantly threatening the Roosters’ defence with his pinpoint kicking and dishing off a pair of try assists.
QUALIFYING FINAL 2 - HARRY GRANT
The Storm captain was brilliant as the minor premiers cruised to a preliminary final berth. As crafty as ever, the superstar number 9 was delighted as he found himself on the end of three second half tries. Grant was industrious as ever, completing 29 tackles in the win over the Sharks.
ELIMINATION FINAL 1 - KYLE FELDT
Playing his last game as a Cowboys player in front of a home crowd in Townsville, Feldt delivered some special moments. The veteran winger’s night included a terrific intercept try and an important tap back to Reuben Cotter for a try that put the his side ahead in the 73rd minute.
ELIMINATION FINAL 2 - TOLUTAU KOULA
Koula scored a memorable try to lift the Sea Eagles to victory over the Bulldogs in a thriller. The centre sprinted away after a well-executed break and beat three defenders to score in the 71st minute. Koula also assisted his team’s first try of the game for teammate Tommy Talau.
